Introduction
Christian camps abound all over the continental United States, yet there are very few on the island of Hawaii. Camp Mauka sits on the east side of the island of Kaua’i…otherwise known as the Garden Island. And for good reason.
We have mountains, we have valleys and we have beaches. It all defines one of the most beautiful places on the planet for a Christian camp. But it goes much deeper than beauty…Camp Mauka is deeply committed to ministry and the discipleship of middle and high school students. It is our desire to be used of God to stir up a passion in young people for the Word of God, for evangelism, and for going out and making disciples. Camp Mauka offers young people a place to pause from the distractions of life for a few days, and really listen for the voice of God.
At Camp Mauka, students will experience daily Bible study, quiet times, interaction with other young people, discipleship from caring leaders, and receive outstanding teaching by excellent pastors and youth workers. And did we mention the fun and food?
It’s true…boat rides, beach activities, mountain hiking, campfires, and more fun in a week than most people will have all year. And campers will not only be fed spiritually, but will eat some of the best home-cooked meals around. We may even do a cookout on the beach!

The Camp Mauka staff is in the process of preparing for this next upcoming season of campers. We are recruiting interns and making headway in securing activities and curriculum for this summers camps. Please Pray for us as we plan this camp! Camp Dates:
Middle School Camps (Going into 6th, 7th, 8th Grade)
- June 1st -5th
High School Camp (Going into 9th, 10th, 11th, 12th Grade)
- June 7th -12th
Cost
Early Registration (Due May 1st)
- Middle School $80
- High School $100
Normal Registration
Deposit: $50 due May 15th
Remaining Balance: Due day of camp
- Middle School $50
- High School $70
This cost covers meals, lodging, speakers, discipleship curriculum and most activities.
Who is running the camp?
Camp Mauka is a ministry of Calvary Chapel Kauai and Kauai Bible College. We have a seasoned staff with a great deal of experience in the camp leadership, counseling, and pastoral care.
Camp counselors are carefully screened Bible College staff and students. They are fully trained to lead the campers and participate in all activities.
Speakers
Each camp will feature a couple of guest speakers who will challenge and inspire. Speakers will share based on the theme, with dynamic application sure to grip each campers heart.
Counselors
Every camper is assigned to a counselor who will lead them through each days activities. Our counselors are gifted in working with youth and have a heart to disciple the campers they are working with.
Worship
Worship will be lead by the Bible College worship team.
Activities
Every afternoon from 1:00 to 4:30 PM our activities director will coordinate that day’s activity. Activities could include a giant water slide, sports day, east side scavenger hunt, paintball, ocean boat rides, kayaking, horse rides. and hikes.
